Gargoyle I was a 2011 Beneteau Oceanis 50 with a 2 cabin layout. She came to us fairly well equipped for cruising with a secondary alternator and solar panels for power, dual fuel tanks for extended range and a water maker. We upgraded her continousily over the eight years we owned her and found her to be a safe and comfortable platform for us to explore the world. She completed over 40,000 nautical miles with us and is a proven bluewater cruiser. Finally, in the winter of 2024/2025 we decided it was time to move up to a larger boat and we made the difficult decision to sell Gargoyle I to new owners in Malta.
Gargoyle II is our current home and she is a 2014 Hanse 575. She is a significanly larger cruiser with four cabins, space for a washing machine and more than enough room for us to spread out in our floating home. Longer, wider and deeper, she is signifcantly faster than her predecessor, making for quicker and more comfortable passages. Key features include a tender garage to keep our Highfield 260 Classic and outboard safely stowed, 17’ of beam and nearly 7’ of headroom in the main salon and a master suite that defines luxury.
